The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) #502 class, “Update for Construction Industry Outreach Trainers,” will be held in Ocean City, Md. June 22-24, 2010.
The three day course is required every four years for personnel in the private sector who have completed OSHA course #500, “Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry,” and who are active trainers in the outreach program.
This class provides an update on such topics as OSHA construction standards, policies and regulations. It also provides recertification for teaching the OSHA 10- and 30- hour construction outreach courses.
Seating is limited and preregistration is required. Tuition per person is $625.
Customized group training sessions are also available on a contractual basis for employers wishing to train their workforce.
