The Mountainlair Ballrooms will be filled with various genres of talent from West Virginia University faculty and staff during their 9th annual talent show on Sunday Feb. 28 at 3:00 p.m.

The event will consist of singing, dancing, fiddling, storytelling, and other performances from some of WVU’s most talented faculty and staff members.

Celebrity judges will include 2015 Mr. Mountaineer finalist Kevin Noreen, 2015 Mountaineer Idol runners-up Marissa Bailey and Issie Keim, the reigning “Dancing with Our Mountaineer Stars” winner Katt Janelle, and Mountaineer Mascot Michael Garcia

WVU police officer and reigning WVU Faculty/Staff Talent Show winner Carlton Smith and Ipsita Tingi, a ninth grade student at Morgantown High School, will also perform during the show. Carlton will entertain the audience with a song and Tingi will perform an Indian semi-classical dance.

Stephen Prince – Staff, Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center
Kaushlendra Singh – Faculty, Forestry and Natural Resources
Litha Sivanandan – Staff, Extension Services

“I encourage WVU and the Greater Morgantown community to come out and support our great faculty and staff in what has always been a very spirited show,” said Mountainlair senior programming administrator Sonja Wilson. “It is so exciting to watch our faculty and staff reveal their hidden talents—this is a show you do not want to miss.”

Awards will be given to the winner, first runner-up, second runner-up, and the remaining two finalists.
