To help get students home for winter break, West Virginia University’s Mountaineer Parents Club is offering bus transportation.

Reservations are currently being accepted and will last until all spots are taken.

Currently buses are being offered to Allentown, Pa., Hagerstown, Md., Secaucus, N.J. and Philadelphia, Pa. The Northern Virginia, Central Maryland and Long Island, N.Y. Parents Clubs are also offering buses to those areas.

“We are happy to partner with the WVU Department of Transportation to provide this service to students. Families are so appreciative that we are helping them get their students home safely for major breaks,” said Sabrina Cave, executive director of the Mountaineer Parents Club.

Buses will depart on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 1:30 p.m. from the Mountainlair and 2 p.m. from the Evansdale Residential Complex. All buses return to Morgantown on Sunday, Jan. 10 around 6 p.m.

The Allentown, Hagerstown, Secaucus, Philadelphia and Long Island trips cost $150 round trip or $100 one way. The Northern Virginia trip costs $150 round trip or $90 one way, and the Central Maryland trip costs $125 round trip or $75 one way.
