Music student Daryl Finley will conduct the WVU Wind Symphony during a free concert at the Creative Arts Center on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Antoinette Falbo Theatre.

Finley is studying conducting at WVU.

The concert will also feature the University Choir, strings from the WVU Symphony Orchestra, and the WVU Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble.

The program will include: “Fanfare for the Common Man” by Aaron Copland; “Adagio for Strings,” by Samuel Barber, “If I Take the Wings of the Morning,” by David T. Childs, “Adagio and Rondo,” by Aldo Forte, “Handel in the Strand,” by Percy Grainger, “Ye Banks And Braes O’ Bonnie Doon” by Percy Aldridge Grainger, and “Pastime: A Salute to Baseball,” by Jack Stamp.
