Brian Wilson, one of the most influential and most respected pop composers of the last half century, will perform his greatest hits at the WVU Creative Arts Center on Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available now and can be purchased at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling 304-293-SHOW.

Since the Beach Boys got their start in the 1960s, their classic songs, such as “I Get Around,” “Surfin’ USA,” “California Girls,” “God Only Knows,” “Help Me, Rhonda” and “Good Vibrations,” have helped to forever embed the band in the heart of American culture. Wilson co-wrote, arranged and produced 20 smash-hit albums and 30 hit singles with the band. The Beach Boys’ 11th studio album, “Pet Sounds,” has been hailed by critics as one of the greatest albums ever recorded and has been widely ranked as one of the most influential records ever released.

Wilson, a member of both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, began his solo career in 1988 and has released 10 albums to date. His 2004 record, “SMiLE,” debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard Charts and was well received by fans and critics.

With his countless hits and years of experience, Wilson’s performances reach across generations to create a truly unique and unforgettable music experience. His live performances have been described as “moving and inspirational,” “a long-awaited ray of light,” and “triumphant.”
