Students at West Virginia University have an affordable, convenient option if they choose to practice safer sex.
The Condom Caravan, a venue for WVU students to buy condoms around campus, sells 30 varieties of condoms for 25 cents each or 5 for $1.
The Condom Caravan is held on Tuesdays at WVU’s Student Health Service – located on the ground floor of the WVU Health Sciences Center – and at a different location each Wednesday. Both are held from 5-7 p.m.
The first caravan will be held on Tuesday (Sept. 1) and the first “traveling” caravan will be held on Wednesday (Sept. 2) outside the dining area in the Evansdale Residential Complex, also known as Towers.
A student wellness graduate assistant will be available to answers questions or refer students to other campus health services.
On Thrifty Thursdays, the condoms are 10 cents all day at the Well WVU Health Promotion office – located in room G280 of the Health Sciences Center. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
