The day to celebrate all of Mountaineer Nation is quickly approaching. West Virginia University will hold its fourth Mountaineer Nation Day on Oct. 3.
Mountaineer Nation Day is a 24-hour period dedicated to fans and their pride and passion for WVU. This year’s celebration will take place on the day the football team takes on Oklahoma.
We encourage all of our fans from around the world to register their watch parties for the game at http://MountaineerNationDay.wvu.edu. Last year, 341 watch parties across 38 states and 13 countries, registered to participate. The farthest was hosted in Malaysia.
Each person who registers a watch party will be automatically entered to win an official #WVUMND prize pack courtesy of 4 Imprint and Top of the World. Also, all fans who register a party will receive a 15 percent off coupon to http://ShopWVU.com. All West Virginia residents will have an opportunity to use a discount to Papa John’s on Mountaineer Nation Day.

WVU employees can enter to win prizes by submitting photos of themselves or their whole office showing their Mountaineer Pride. The most prideful individual will win a $25 gift card to the WVU Bookstore and the most spirited office will win a WVU prize to help them show their pride at work. Send your photos to trademarklicensing@mail.wvu.edu by Oct. 2.

The Mountaineer Parents Club and the Mountaineer Maniacs will host a watch party during Fall Family Weekend. Details will be released once the game time is announced.
