The West Virginia University Reed College of Media and WVU’s National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium are celebrating recent triumphs in the 2015 Videographer Awards, an international awards program directed by communication professionals.

The College of Media earned two Awards of Excellence and one Award of Distinction, and NAFTC earned one Award of Distinction.

The Videographer Award of Excellence is awarded to those entries whose ability to capture the event or communicate the message is exceptional. The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards, while Honorable Mention is awarded to projects that uphold industry standards.

The College of Media earned Awards of Excellence for the following projects:

• Bridging Selma: A Collaboration Between Morgan State and West Virginia Universities (Category-Educational Institution)
• Adventure West Virginia (Category-Educational Institution)

The College earned an Award of Distinction for:

• Truth Is My Destination (Category-Educational Institution)

The NAFTC earned an Award of Distinction for:

• National AFV Day Odyssey Video (Video Production/Special Event)
