The West Virginia University Chamber Winds ensemble, conducted by John Weigand, will present a spring concert at the Creative Arts Center, Tuesday, April 28.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Gladys G. Davis Theatre and is free and open to the public.

The program will include “Harmonie-musik in C, Opus 76” by Franz Krommer (1759-1831), “Chanson et Danses” by Vincent D’Indy (1851-1931), and “Dixtour, Opus 14” by Georges Enesco (1881-1955).

Students in the ensemble include Amanda Cook and Mirim Lee, flute; Evan Klein and Alicia Smith, oboe; Chris Bowmaster and Cody Dixon, clarinet; Ida Cawley, Claire Wayne and Lucia Zung, bassoon; and Nicholas Gasemy, Lauren Harris and Chase Phillips, horn.
