West Virginia University Dining Services invites students, faculty and staff to celebrate the birthday of campus coffee shop, Brew ‘N Gold Caf, located in Braxton Tower, from 3-4 p.m. on Monday (Dec. 8).
The Brew ‘N Gold birthday party will be held in the exterior lobby of the Caf. There will be celebratory cake and hors devours, drawings for gift baskets and special guests. The first 500 customers to visit the shop on Monday will receive an official Brew ‘N Gold coffee mug.
“With a decade of stellar service, we have always strived to give students the best in customer service,” said Jay Capron, manager of Campus Coffee Operations. “That means delicious food, warm drinks and quick service, and I believe we continue to reach those goals today.”
Brew ‘N Gold Caf offers students meals and Starbucks cappuccinos on-the-go.
“Brew ‘N Gold Caf was the first grab-n-go location opened on campus,” said David Friend, director of WVU Dining Services. “It has been so popular that we’ve opened two other coffee shops, and three more grab-n-go locations inspired by the Brew N’ Gold concept. For a decade now, Brew ‘N Gold has influenced how a generation of students has shared meals together on campus.”
