The West Virginia University School of Art & Design will present its third annual Juried Student Exhibition Nov. 3-14 in the Creative Arts Center’s Douglas O. Blaney Lobby.

This exhibition features student work in ceramics, photography, sculpture, printmaking, graphic design, painting, drawing, video and animation.

The opening reception for the Juried Student Exhibition will take place on Thursday (Nov. 6) at 5 p.m., at which time the winners will be announced. This reception is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

This year’s jurors were Paul Roden and Valerie Lueth of Tugboat Printshop. Roden and Lueth have been working together since 2006 as a two-person artist team, specializing in fine art woodcut print editions in Pittsburgh.

Awards include Best in Show, two College of Creative Arts Dean’s Purchase Awards, awards for Juror’s Choice, the School of Art & Design Director’s Choice and the Judy Raese Arts Award.

The student artists with showcased work are James Addison, Alexis Ashbrook, Hailey Banda, Jade Broomfield, Brandon Diaz, Lindsay Dieffenbauch, Nathan Ditzler, Alexandra Engelman, Megan Gainer, Violet Goode, Jacob Guzan, Daniel Hecht, Brett Herron, Logan Jarvis, Zachary Karolchik, Kyleen Kelly, William McKinney, Brittany Mick, Keegan Olson, Patrick Riley, Lauren Schiefelbein, Sarah Schlosser, Charles Scott, Emily Sokolosky, Jordan Welsh, Samuel Wood and Xia Zhang.
