WVU offers April and May courses for social service providers

The West Virginia University’s School of Social Work is holding professional and community education programs for social workers and counselors who wish to earn continuing education credit.

Workshops in April and May will deal with a variety of topics aimed to help social service providers stay up-to-date on new developments in their fields.

Morgantown area workshops:

  • April 3: “More Than Shy: Exploring the Highly-Sensitive Person,” 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Monongalia General Hospital, Mylan Room, Morgantown, W.Va. Registration Fee: $35
  • April 3: “Ethical Considerations When Working with persons with Disabilities,” 1-5 p.m., Monongalia General Hospital, Mylan Room, Morgantown, W.Va., Registration Fee: $35
