West Virginia University President Gordon Gee will be master of ceremonies at the Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics’ eighth annual Spring Spectacular on Friday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m. at the Metropolitan Theatre.
The event is free and open to the public.
This annual extravaganza showcases the diversity of language and cultural study in the Department, as well as the creativity of its students.
Students have prepared skits, songs, dances and other presentations to express the enjoyment of studying another language and culture.
“Come see our talented students and enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment,” said Lisa DiBartolomeo, organizer of the event and teaching associate professor of Russian and Slavic.
