The West Virginia University Police is seeking any information on the theft of a white 1997 Buick Century from the second level of the Mountainlair Parking Garage during the hours of 8 p.m. on Feb. 4 and 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 5.

University Police is asking that anyone who may have witnessed this incident to call the WVU Police at 293-2677 or 293-COPS and contact Capt. Phil Scott.

• WVU Police offers the following tips:
• When possible park in a well-lit area.
• Lock your vehicle and don’t leave Keys in the vehicle.
• Hide anything of value out of sight.
• If you see someone suspicious or suspicious activity around parking areas don’t be afraid to call the police.
