The West Virginia University choral program will present a “Seasonal Celebration” Concert at the Creative Arts Center, Sunday, Nov. 17. The concert will be conducted by Jeffery Redding, director of choral activities.

The program begins at 3:15 p.m. in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre and will feature all of the WVU Choirs, as well as six area high school choirs and church choirs, in music celebrating the upcoming holiday season.

Performers include Morgantown High School, University High School, Cabell Midland High School, Parkersburg South High School, Suncrest United Methodist Church, the University Singers, the WVU Community Choir, and the WVU Chamber Orchestra.

Special guests will be WVU voice faculty members Hope Koehler, soprano’ Mandy Spivak, mezzo soprano; Nicholas Perna, tenor; William Koehler, bass; and William Haller, organist.

According to Dr. Redding, the program will feature many seasonal favorites, including “Joy to the World,” “Ring Out ye Crystal Spheres,” “What Sweeter Music,” “Go Tell it on the Mountain,” and more.
