West Virginia University students are welcome to join the Mountaineer Maniacs for a watch party as the Mountaineer football team takes on Kansas State on Saturday (Oct. 26).

While the action on the field takes place at the Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kan., students can gather at the Towers Blue and Gold Ballrooms to watch the game. Doors open at 3:15 p.m., and kickoff is scheduled for 3:45 p.m.

“Saturday’s game is a great opportunity for students to come together and cheer on the Mountaineers, as they take on Kansas State,” said Chris Northrup, Maniacs executive director. “We will have free drinks, Papa Johns and Buffalo Wild Wings to all that attend.”

Students can purchase raffle tickets for a $1 per ticket for a chance to win items courtesy of the Book Exchange. All proceeds will go to the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center.

At the conclusion of the game, the men’s soccer team takes on Western Michigan at 7 p.m. at the Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. The soccer game is the annual “kick or treat” game. Students are encouraged to go straight from the watch party over to the soccer game dressed up in their Halloween costumes.
