One of the most enduring Broadway classics of all time, Hello, Dolly! starring Sally Struthers, arrives at the West Virginia University Creative Arts Center on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Show time is set for 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, online at ticketmaster.com, or by calling 304-293-SHOW or 800-745-3000.

Two-time Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Sally Struthers stars as the strong-willed matchmaker Dolly, who travels to Yonkers, New York, to find a match for the ornery “well-known unmarried half-a-millionaire” Horace Vandergelder.

Best known for her work as Gloria in the legendary television series “All In The Family” and more recently as Babette on “Gilmore Girls,” Struthers’ career has spanned four decades. In addition to her celebrated TV career, she has sparkled on the musical theater stage nationwide with featured roles in Broadway productions of Annie, Grease and The Odd Couple, and regionally in The Full Monty, Mame, Legally Blonde and Chicago.

With an irresistible story and an unforgettable score including classics such as, “Hello, Dolly!”, “Put on Your Sunday Clothes,” “It Only Takes a Moment,” and the show-stopping “Before the Parade Passes By,” Hello, Dolly! has been delighting audiences around the world since 1964.

Winner of 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Original Score and Best Choreography, Hello, Dolly! features music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart. Since its multi-Tony Award winning Broadway premiere in 1964, the show has had three Broadway revivals and boundless international success, as well as a film adaptation that was nominated for seven Academy Awards in 1969.

Showtime is set for 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 13. Tickets range in price from $45 to $56, depending on seat location and availability. WVU students may purchase tickets for only $33 with a valid WVU ID at the campus box offices (one discounted ticket per valid ID). Tickets are available at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, online at ticketmaster.com, or by calling 304-293-SHOW and 800-745-3000.
