The West Virginia University Choral Program will present a Choir Concert at 3:15 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre of the Creative Arts Center.

According to Jeffery Redding, director of the choral program in the School of Music, this concert will be a preview of the group’s fall tour, which will take them to North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida, during Oct. 29-Nov. 3. The highlight of the tour will be a performance at the Florida American Choral Director’s Conference at Lake Mary, Fla.

The program includes: “Gloria Fanfare” by Jeffery L. Ames; “Sicut Cervus” by Giovannia Pierluigi Da Palestrina; “Lobet den Herrn” (Psalm 117) by J.S. Bach; “Vela! Asambeni Siyekhaya!” (Traditional Zulu) by Andre van der Merwe; “Song to the Moon” (La Luna) by Z. Randall Stroope; and “Witness” arr. by Mark Butler.
