The West Virginia University community is invited to attend a reception honoring recently retired staff who have dedicated their service to the WVU Division of Student Affairs. The reception will be held in Elizabeth Moore Hall at 3 p.m. on Thursday (Sept. 19).

The 18 honorees include employees who have retired over the past year.

Each of our honorees have been influential in providing an environment that fosters the growth and success of our students,” said Vice President for Student Affairs Ken Gray. “All of them have dedicated their time and effort in promoting and supporting the University’s mission by working collaboratively with students, staff and faculty to create and provide student learning opportunities outside the classroom.

“I believe students for years to come will greatly benefit from their dedication and hard work.”

Light refreshments will be served with remarks beginning at 3:30 p.m.
