Seniors graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts will exhibit their final projects in the Creative Arts Center’s Mesaros Galleries, April 11 through May 19.
Works are from the areas of painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, graphic design, intermedia and photography.
“This all-inclusive exhibition is unique among the many exhibits seen this year in the school, because it represents the culmination of all of our senior capstone projects for all the major studio areas,” said Alison Helm, chair of the School of Art & Design.
The students include: Benjamin Amend; Grace Arnett; Joseph Bradbury; Taylor Bray; Mary Carl; Laura Crosby; Shannon Dent; William Deskins; Steven Diller; Sean Dooley; Meighan Duttine; Michael Fairless; James Gilmore II; Grace Goswick; Alexandra Haloszka; Tyler Herrinton; Mikaela Jaros; Clayton Keesee; Nicole Mata; Michelle McGettigan; Samantha Murphy; Francis O’Hara; Tiana Phillips; Brooke Potter; Amanda Ranck; Caitlin Ratliff; Heather Rios; Elizabeth Roth; Jaimee Shaffer; Sydney Sherman; Tara Smith; Rachael Taylorson; Christopher Tingley; Samantha Wade; and Courtney Walker.
The Mesaros Galleries will be open during the College of Creative Arts Convocation, Saturday, May 18, at 5:30 p.m. in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre of the Creative Arts Center.
The gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, from noon to 9:30 p.m. The galleries are closed on Sundays and University holidays. All Mesaros Galleries events are free and open to the public. For more information, call curator Robert Bridges at (304) 293-2312.
