The West Virginia University Residence Hall Association will hold its 12th annual talent show on Friday (March 15) at 7 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The top two acts from each residence hall will compete against each other under the theme “Vegas.”
“Every year there is a talent show held at each of the residence halls and the top two acts head to the annual RHA Talent Show,” said Victoria Madden, RHA programming development committee chair.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three acts. Prizes include $500, $300 and $100. The honorable mention will also receive $100.
“The annual talent show is a chance for the students to broadcast his or her talents,” Madden said. “This gathering provides an opportunity for students from other residence halls to meet from both campuses.”
All students are encouraged to attend this year’s talent show. Free refreshments will be available as attendees enjoy great entertainment. Prizes and giveaways will also be awarded. This event is free and open to the public.
