The members of the Monongalia County Chapter of the West Virginia University Mountaineer Parents Club and their students are invited to come out on Sunday (Jan. 20) to have some fun while showing off their bowling skills during the Winterfest Bowling Party.

The Winterfest bowling party will be held at the Mountainlair bowling alley located on the ground floor of the building from 3-7 p.m. Refreshments can be brought along or purchased at the Mountainlair Food Court, and the WVU Parents Club will raffle off a $200 textbook scholarship card for the WVU Barnes and Noble Bookstore.

“We encourage parents and their students to come out and join us in some friendly competition and fun,” said Associate Director for the Mountaineer Parents Club Lisa Hanselman. “Winterfest will provide club members with an opportunity to meet other Mountaineer parents in a fun and exciting way.”

Parents and student can RSVP to Cheryl Tremaine, club chair of the Monongalia County Chapter by texting 724-331-8901 or e-mailing catremaine@comcast.net.

“WinterFests are a great time for WVU families to come together in a relaxed and fun setting,” Hanselman said. “The Mon County Club will be planning future events for our local families throughout the year.”
