WELLWVU encourages West Virginia University students in to adopt a chillWELL state of mind in early December to reduce stress and optimize quality of life and performance in preparation for final exams.

chillWELL is a part of WELLWVU’s liveWELL campaign, where each month pairs social marketing campaigns with educational activities to address healthy lifestyle behaviors.

Activities will take place during the week before final exams on Dec. 3 and Dec. 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mountainlair.

Activities include: chillPACKS, a tool developed to help students see the positive in life; heartMath, a computer program that teaches students self-regulation techniques that improve nervous system function, emotional stability and cognitive performance; WELLGO calendar, an activity that teaches students time management skills and prioritization; Mantra Workshop, an artistic workshop that encourages the use of positive self-statements; and other creative activities to help you chill like coloring, finger painting and tea making.
