WELLWVU will be hosting Green Dot instructor training in Morgantown this December.
The Green Dot program prepares organizations and communities to implement a strategy of violence prevention that consistently and measurably reduces power-based personal violence. Bringing the Green Dot instructor training to the West Virginia University campus emphasizes the University’s commitment to ending power-based violence on campus and throughout the state.
The training is being offered to faculty, staff and community members from Dec. 11-14 at the Erickson Alumni Center. The training cost is $120 for faculty, staff and non-profit organizations. It is $200 for other academic institutions. Training costs will include printed and electronic materials needed to implement Green Dot and lunch throughout the four days. CEU’s are available.
