The Laureate Wind Quintet, one of the premiere chamber ensembles in residence at West Virginia University, will present a recital at the Creative Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (200A). The event is free and open to the public.

Faculty members performing include Nina Assimakopoulos on the flute, Cynthia Anderson playing oboe, John Weigand on the clarinet, Lynn Hilemann on the bassoon and Virginia Thompson playing horn.

Featured on the program will be: “Quintet” by Jean Francaix; “Summer Music” by Samuel Barber; and “Partita” by Irving Fine.
