Mountaineer Week’s literary publication, “Voices of Appalachia”, will be on sale during Family Fun Day on Saturday (Oct. 27) from noon to 5 p.m.
The $10 publication will include a variety of written pieces from authors across Appalachia.
In addition to fictional stories and poetry, “Voices of Appalachia” will also include nonfiction stories, anecdotes, memories, history, traditions, ghost stories, romantic stories and more.
The publication includes stories celebrating Appalachian life and culture, while also including pieces that showcase authors’ writing talents beyond the subject of Appalachia. In addition, “Voices of Appalachia” will include photos from last year’s Mountaineer Week photo contest.
