The West Virginia University College of Creative Arts is hosting the 2012 Spring Flute Fling at the Creative Arts Center on April 21, 2012.

The Flute Fling will feature master classes, workshops, flute music and instrument sales, and a gala concert performance by guest artists.

Interested participants can register for the Flute Fling online.

The special guest artists include flutists Nicole Esposito, Jill Felber, Alison Brown Sincoff and Elizabeth Brightbill.

The event is hosted by Nina Assimakopoulos, internationally acclaimed flutist and assistant flute professor at WVU.

Assimakopoulos has performed as principal flute with the Munich City Opera, Bavarian Radio Symphony Academy Orchestra, the New Hampshire Symphony Orchestra and the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. She studied previously with Peter Lloyd at the Indiana University School of Music and Paul Meisen at the Munich Academy of Music.
