WELLWVU’s Office of Wellness and Health Promotion has been encouraging students throughout the academic year to embrace a healthy lifestyle through the ””liveWELL””:http://well.wvu.edu/wellness/livewell program.

The “liveWELL” program provides a valuable opportunity for students to know more about different Wellness topics including alcohol, sexual health, stress, nutrition, sleep, fitness and more.

Each month WELLWVU focuses on a different topic, where students can participate in activities related to that topic in order to earn wristbands. If they collect at least five of the 13 bands, they will earn “liveWELL” status, which is the final band in the series and enters them into a raffle for an iPad.

For those students who have earned at least five of the “liveWELL” bands, they can turn them in at certain locations around campus to enter the raffle for an iPad and earn their “liveWELL” status.

Those locations and times are as follows: April 17 at the Student Recreation Center from 4 to 6:30 p.m.; April 18 at the Mountainlair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; April 18 at Towers from 5 to 7 p.m.; April 19 at Lincoln Hall from 6 to 8 p.m.; April 19 at Towers from 6 to 8 p.m.; April 23 at the Mountaineer Station from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; April 24 at the Mountainlair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and April 25 at the intramural fields from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Students can turn in the following bands that will count toward “liveWELL” status: drinkWELL, loveWELL, chillWELL, eatWELL, sleepWELL, protectWELL, playWELL, moveWELL, breatheWELL, driveWELL, startWELL, plantWELL and leadWELL.

The “liveWELL” program will continue until the last week of the semester.
