As the school year draws to a close, the West Virginia University College of Law will host its 2012 College of Law Honors Ceremony on Sunday, April 15 at the Waterfront Place Hotel. The event is the WVU College of Law’s annual celebration of the many outstanding achievements of its students, faculty and staff.

The Honors Ceremony will begin with a reception at 3 p.m., and the program will run from 4-5 p.m. Students to be recognized include those who served on the West Virginia Law Review and Moot Court Board, students who have excelled in the classroom, and students who have received the College of Law’s “Culture of Excellence Award” for outstanding service to the law school community.

“The accomplishments of these students are really quite outstanding,” said WVU College of Law Professor Gregory Bowman, who is coordinating this year’s event. “Our students are truly amazing people. They make us proud, and they help make the College of Law a great school.”

Family and friends of WVU College of Law students who are being honored at the event are invited and encouraged to attend. Please RSVP to Bertha Romine at bertha.romine@mail.wvu.edu or (304) 293-7659 by Monday, April 9 if you would like to attend.
