The Career Services Center at West Virginia University is kicking off March with its Spring Career Fair held in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.

The event, held on Thursday (March 1) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. is calling all students looking for internships, entry-level and full time jobs from a pool of more than 70 national employers. These employers include Coca-Cola, GEICO, Mylan, United Bank Inc., Oshkosh Corporation, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Sherwin-Williams Company and more.

Students of all majors and ranks are invited to attend, should dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resumes.

Students can have their resumes analyzed by members of the Career Services Center either by visiting its office in the Mountainlair or by emailing a copy of it to careerservices@mail.wvu.edu.

“Other than meeting employers, the fair is an excellent opportunity to practice networking skills,” said David Durham, director of the WVU Career Services Center. “Students might learn about a great opportunity that they haven’t yet considered.”
