Mountaineers on the web: The story of West Virginia’s university can now be experienced in a new way.
WVUToday, the main source for news about West Virginia University, is sporting a new look.
A redesigned WVUToday webpage debuted last week in an effort to provide a more dynamic platform. The new site offers a rich selection of media, including video, photography, audio and layed multimedia narratives.
University Relations/Web created and built the new site, which makes use of the latest web content tools. As a result, all elements of WVUToday are now available on all mobile devices.
Audiences can now access news and feature stories from any device, at any time. Some current examples include:
- It’s the right thing to do, a video feature on WVU bringing its groundbreaking healthcare to rural pockets of West Virginia.
- The land-grant redefined: West Virginia’s gift to the world, which was shown to a crowd of more than 500 persons at the Capital Classic Luncheon in Charleston.
- A story of true Mountaineer giving – Ben Statler and his wife, Jo, pledging $34 million to the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.
Enjoy the new WVUToday experience – and the stories that capture the beating gold-and-blue heart of the University.
