The West Virginia University Chamber Winds, conducted by John Weigand, will present a concert at the Creative Arts Center on Monday (Oct. 10). The ensemble will be joined by horn graduate student Amanda Devereaux.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Gladys G. Davis Theatre. The event is free and the public is invited.

The program will include “Octet-Partita, Opus 57” by Franz Krommer (1759-1831); “Overture to Fidelio” by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827), arranged by Wendel Sedlak; and “Lied et Scherzo for solo horn and winds” by Florent Schmitt (1870-1958).
