The Eberly College of Arts & Sciences at West Virginia University and the Department of History are pleased to announce the first Rush D. Holt Lecture, to be presented Monday (April 11). The lecture will be an annual event.

The presentation, entitled “Senator Rush Holt’s Filibuster, 1936: Aesop’s Fables and Miners’ Wages,” will be given by U.S. Rep. Rush D. Holt Jr. in the Rhododendron Room of the Mountainlair student union from 8-9:30 p.m.

This lecture is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
