Approximately 1,247 students were granted degrees from West Virginia University in December.

Graduates and their families were recognized at a convocation ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 12. Community Medicine Professor Ruth Kershner was the keynote speaker.

She urged graduates to “remember to use your hands, your head and most importantly your heart to better yourself and make your mark on the world.”
