The West Virginia University College of Human Resources and Education Alumni Association is encouraging everyone to get into the holiday spirit and donate to its annual Children’s Book Drive.

The book drive, which runs from Dec. 1-20, benefits local United Way agencies that help disadvantaged children. To get involved, drop off new and gently used, unwrapped books in designated bins at the following locations:

• Morgantown Mall
• University Town Centre Giant Eagle
• 802 Allen Hall, WVU Evansdale Campus
• All Morgantown BB&T locations (place books in United Way Toy Drive boxes)

One mission of the College of Human Resources and Education Alumni Association is to enhance and improve educational opportunities across the state, said Kaye McCrory, an officer in the College of Human Resources and Education Alumni Association.

“The Children’s Book Drive is just one way we can promote reading and provide enjoyable learning opportunities to children living in less fortunate situations,” McCrory said.
