Works by Julie Giroux, Samuel Barber, Haydn Wood, Aaron Copland and David Maslanka will be on the program as the WVU Wind Symphony, under the direction of John Hendricks, III, performs a spring concert at the Creative Arts Center on Tuesday, April 13.

The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre.

Hendricks will be assisted by conductors Christopher J. Nichter and graduate student Alejandro Pinzon.

The program includes “Husaria Cavalry Overture,” by Giroux, “Commando March,” by Barber, “Mannin Veen,” by Wood, “Variations on a Shaker Melody,” by Copland and “Give Us This Day,” by Maslanka.
