For only the second time in the history of West Virginia University basketball, the Mountaineers are headed to the NCAA Final Four after defeating Kentucky 73-66. Alumni, fans and friends can head to Indianapolis to cheer the team to victory as part of WVU Sports Travel’s Final Four travel package.

WVU Sports Travel (http://www.wvusportstravel.com) is offering two packages for fans interested in attending the game.

The deluxe charter package will leave from the North Central Regional Airport in Clarksburg Friday, April 2, and return Tuesday, April 7, immediately following the NCAA Championship game. This package includes round trip air transportation, transportation to and from the airport to the hotel via deluxe motorcoach, round trip airport/hotel transfers and baggage handling, four nights’ hotel accommodations at the Marriott East in Indianapolis, arrival refreshments, and pre-registration of hotel rooms. Additionally, official travelers will receive a game ticket for all three sessions, a special social event, daily shuttles from the hotel to downtown Indianapolis/team practices, round-trip game transfers, special NCAA Final Four badge, and more.

Fans can also take advantage of a deluxe four-day land package. The deluxe land package includes all the amenities offered in the deluxe charter package exclusive of air transportation, transfers and baggage handling.

The Marriott East will serve as the official headquarters of the WVU Alumni Association. WVU Sports Travel and alumni officials will serve as travel hosts for the length of the trip and will staff a hospitality desk at the hotel.

Mountaineer Athletic Club donors and 2009-10 WVU men’s basketball season ticket holders will receive priority on official Final Four travel package requests.
