If you live near Bruceton Mills or Brandonville, save a little on gas mileage and enjoy the convenience of having WVU Community Arts Program classes in your own back yard. Registration is going on through April 9.

Classes are easily accessible off of I-68, even for those as far away as Friendsville or Deep Creek, Md.

For those in Morgantown and its surrounding communities, make it a wonderful side trip to enjoy the simple beauty the area has to offer. It takes less time to get to Preston County than driving across Morgantown during rush hour.

WVU community art classes being offered in Preston County include:

Ballet (ages 4-5 and 6-8)
Five 45-minute sessions, to be held Fridays, April 16-May 14, at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. at The Mill Stone.

Jazz Dance for Adults
Five one-hour sessions, to be held Fridays, April 16-May 14, at 7:15 p.m. at The Mill Stone.

Creative Modern Dance (ages 4-5, 6-8 and 9-12)
Five 45-minute sessions, to be held Fridays, April 16-May 14, at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. at The Mill Stone. The sessions for ages 9-12 will be one hour long.

Drawing Fun for Kids! (ages 7 to 12)
Six one-hour sessions to be held Wednesdays, April 14-May 19, at 4 p.m. at the Brandonville Town Hall.

Beginning Painting (ages 7-12 and 13 to adult)
Six one-hour sessions to be held Wednesdays, April 14-May 19, at 5:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. at the Brandonville Town Hall.

Classical Drawing Fundamentals (ages 13 to adult)
Six one-hour sessions to be held Wednesdays, April 14-May 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Brandonville Town Hall.
