West Virginia University’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America’s National Bateman Team encourages Morgantown residents and students to complete an easy and confidential online survey.
The survey for the Morgantown community can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/s/morgantowncensus ; the student survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/s/wvucensus. These surveys will be open to the public until March 11.
The survey data will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the Every Mountaineer Counted campaign, which was implemented in February to encourage people to complete the 2010 U.S. Census.
If the data from the survey shows the campaign was successful, it could help bring another national award to WVU’s chapter of the PRSSA by winning the National Bateman Competition.
For more information regarding the Every Mountaineer Counted campaign or survey contact Bateman Team Captain Shay Miller with questions at wvucensus@gmail.com or at 304-532-8084.
WVU’s PRSSA chapter is one of the six founding chapters.
