Great holiday gifts can be found at the Creative Arts Center as the WVU Ceramics Studio hosts its Annual Holiday Pottery Sale, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11-12.

The sale will feature work by WVU students and faculty, including porcelain made at the WVU studio at Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute in China, as well as porcelain by Jennifer Allen. Also, the Morgantown Rotary Club will present coffee and crafts from Guatemala. The proceeds from the sale benefit the ceramics program, student scholarships, student travel and study in China.

The sale will be held in the Douglas O. Blaney Lobby at the front entrance of the CAC. Hours are Friday, Dec. 11, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 12, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be no sale on Sunday this year due to the WVU December Convocation being held at the CAC that day, but the Ceramics program will be selling pottery after Dec. 12, by appointment, at its new studio and gallery off the Bakers Ridge Road. To schedule an appointment, call Chris Brown at 304-293-2964.
