WHAT: Round 2, Statewide Business Plan Competition; this round of judging will narrow the field from 20 semi-finalists to 10 finalists in their quest for two $10,000 cash prizes.

WHO: 20 entrepreneurial teams from five different West Virginia colleges and universities will give two-minute pitches of their business ideas.

WHEN: Wednesday, Nov. 18, noon – 1:30 p.m.

WHERE: Bridgeport Conference Center, Bridgeport, W.Va. (I-79, Exit 124)

This is the second round of competition in the Fourth Annual Statewide Business Plan Competition, which will see 20 student teams give two-minute pitches of their business ideas. The teams will be judged by an audience of business professionals, who will narrow the field to 10 teams of finalists.

These 10 finalists will be one step closer in their quest to win two $10,000 cash prizes.

This year’s competition included 98 entries from seven different colleges and universities across West Virginia.
