With a masterful mix of contemporary and classic styles, Tea Leaf Green will rock the WVU Mountainlair Ballroom on Friday, Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. Fellow jam band Elmwood will open the show. Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 13 at the Mountainlair Box Office, ticketmaster.com and 304-293-SHOW.
Consistently filling venues across the country, Tea Leaf Green’s exhilarating live performances are unforgettable. Tea Leaf Green has earned a loyal fan base while appearing at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Wakarusa and The Echo Project. The band has also shared the stage with The Dave Matthews Band, Bob Weir and Bruce Hornsby.
Since its inception in 1998, the band has released five accomplished albums. The title song “Taught to be Proud” off its 2005 record earned the group a Song of the Year trophy at the 2006 Jammy Awards. The fifth studio album, Raise the Tent, was released in the summer of 2008 and features eleven new songs with remarkable lyrics and an incredible sound.
