The WVU Department of Transportation and Parking is suggesting that those who have been parking along Monongahela Boulevard near the West Virginia University Coliseum begin using the rear areas of the Coliseum to the west and north.
Parking along Mon Boulevard will be restricted beginning Monday (Oct. 5), with warnings initially being given and then ticketing and towing to begin soon afterward.
If those suggested areas are full, Mon Boulevard parkers can park in the short-term lot at the Alumni Center located on Patteson Drive across from Fieldcrest Hall.
Krepps Park and the Christian Missionary Church are also parking alternatives, but if those choosing to park there should be cautious crossing Patteson drive.
As a reminder, those crossing Mon Boulevard must use the crosswalk at the Coliseum.
