West Virginia University’s Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity will hold a bell-ringing ceremony Friday (Sept. 18) in remembrance of junior Darrell T. Riley.

The service will begin at noon at Oglebay Plaza on WVU’s Downtown Campus.

Riley, 35, was an environmental geoscience major from Shinnston. He died on May 24, 2009.

Family, friends and members of the University community are welcome to attend Friday’s ceremony. Individuals who would like to speak should contact Lauren Lagana, memorial bell-ringing chair, at 304-993-7254.
