WHO: Welcome will be given by Morgantown Mayor Bill Byrne at 9 a.m., followed by keynote address by West Virginia Secretary of Commerce Kelley Goes. The event is hosted by West Virginia Brownfields Assistance Centers at Marshall University and West Virginia University; West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection; U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 3; and Air and Waste Management Association, West Virginia chapter. It is sponsored by Triad Engineering, Jackson Kelly PLLC , Thrasher Engineering and H.C. Nutting, a Terracon Company.


BACKGROUND: This conference will bring together communities, developers, federal and state agencies as well as real estate and engineering professionals interested in turning brownfields into productive community assets.


This annual event serves as the premier brownfields networking opportunity for businesses and communities in West Virginia. Over 175 participants and over 20 exhibitors are currently registered for this years conference.
