A WVU Alert was issued at 7:51 p.m. Monday night because of a chemical release that occurred at Health Sciences North. Release was minimal and no danger is currently present. University Police have confirmed that it is safe to return to the area.There was an early indication that all of Health Sciences needed to be evacuated, however University Police later clarified that the emergency occurred on the second floor of Health Sciences North only.
