MORGANTOWN , W.Va.Martina Bison-Huckaby has been named director of the Center for Executive Education at the West Virginia University College of Business and Economics . She previously served as the centers interim director and associate director.


As thedirector, Bison-Huckaby will be responsible for the daily operations of the center as well as for the development, marketing, recruiting, logistics, and delivery of the centers programs.


The Center for Executive Education provides non-degree business and executive-level education to companies and individuals in West Virginia and the region. A week-long workshop for forensic lab managers from across the United States was recently held at the Center for Executive Education.


Before working in higher education, Bison-Huckaby held the position of director of international sales administration for Saban Entertainment/Fox Family Worldwide and served as a client coordinator for the consulting company Continuous Learning Group, Inc. Bison-Huckaby holds degrees from Ca’Foscari, University of Venice in Italy and from West Virginia University. She also attended her sophomore year at UCLA as a recipient of an exchange abroad program scholarship.


With Martinas leadership and proven track record, our college will be able to expand executive level education and leadership development requested by businesses across the state and region, said Dr. Tom S.
