WVU Creative Arts CenterLimited, marked seating is available for print media along Aisle L (house left) on a first-come, first-serve basis. Members of the media wishing to interview graduates and others preparing for the ceremonies may do so with an escort from News and Information Services or other designated event staff. HAND -HELD still and video cameras are permitted in the side aisles and in the (house right) back corner of the theater. If media need to move from one side of the theater to the other, please cross in back of the room so as not to block graduates and guests. A mult box will be available for broadcast media attending the Honors Convocation and School of Journalism event. One or two tripods may be permitted behind the gray bar/Aisle L if space allows. Please see News and Information Services staff for press kits (at the Commencement Honors Convocation) and further instructions.


WVU ColiseumPhotographers and videographers are permitted to gather still and video images from along the perimeter of the floor, but not between the platform party and first row of graduates. Print media are invited to sit in the press row section, just off the main concourse as you enter the Blue Gate. Tripods are permitted but not in stairways or other limited access areas. Members of the media wishing to interview graduates and others lining up in the Red Gate tunnel and/or preparing for the ceremony in the Jerry West Mountaineer Room should see News and Information Services or event staff for an escort.


WVU Student Recreation CenterMedia are welcome to take photos and gather video from the perimeter of the floor, but not between the platform party and first row of graduates. Reporters who would like to interview graduates and others preparing for the ceremonies should request an escort from News and Information Services or other designated event staff.
