Beginning today (Wednesday, May 6), University Police will be on hand to guide traffic near student housing. Students and parents are advised to avoid the Westover Bridge, while road work continues in that area.


WVU Dining Services is providing study snacks throughout finals week. Meals will be served at the usual dining facilities and times through 2 p.m. Saturday.

Meanwhile, flexible housing options are available at Pierpont Apartments for students who are enrolled in summer courses, which begin Monday, May 18.


Students who choose to live on campus during the summer sessions will only need to pay for the period of time they are taking classes,said Corey Farris, director of Housing and University Apartments.It is not necessary for students to sign a lease for the whole summer if they have a three-week summer school course.
