West Virginia ””:http://www.wvu.edu University is honoring graduating seniors with a Senior Send-Off barbecue at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at the new Erickson Alumni Center.

All 2009 graduates are invited to come celebrate and visit with their fellow classmates. Free food, beverages and live entertainment will be provided, and there will be gifts and prizes.

This is a great time for students to bid farewell to the University and celebrate their many accomplishments with their classmates,said Sheila Powell, special assistant to the vice president for Student Affairs.

The send-off is sponsored by WVU s Office of Student Affairs and the WVU Alumni Association .
